thoughts this week

as i’m off work anticipating the arrival of baby boy, childhood cancer awareness month is on my mind. i’m reminded of the miracles of healing as well as the lives lost. raise awareness or support the cause if you can! http://www.curesearch.org/

gracie has always loved craft time but even more so in the last month since starting her preschool program. she LOVES arts and crafts and especially on days we are cooped up inside because of the heat.  here’s the space i created just for her to create.

this bag. OH THIS BAG. it’s amazing. it’s handmade in India providing dignified work for artisans.  it’s the perfect size and holds anything and everything! www.noondaycollection.com

although i feel so fortunate for the opportunity to be pregnant and to feel the miracle of a baby growing and moving inside of me, i am about bursting out of my maternity clothes. here’s an outfit i purchased (mostly all on clearance or from clothing swaps) as motivation to get back into “real” clothes after baby comes!

fall

gracie sneezed yesterday and i immediately got paranoid about nasty colds that are upon us. i am thinking about trying essential oils to help prevent some of these nasty bugs. testimonies from friends using them have been pretty convincing. some oils possess antibacterial and antiviral properties. http://www.prevention.com/health/health-concerns/best-essential-oils-cold-and-flu

and finally, i dove into the world of blogging for profit. i signed up for a few organizations to potentially guest blog and/or review products. all i need is a bigger presence on social media so i set up a twitter account. follow me if you feel inclined and help boost my “presence!” https://twitter.com/loveonamonday
