monday’s highlights

i just learned about this great campaign providing meals for haitians. check it out! perhaps donate!
we finally checked out “secret beach” and it was pretty amazing and i love that it’s so close to our house.

have you seen the incredible sale going on at NOONDAY? you should check it out and be sure to hop on over to my instagram @noondaymarian to see some samples up for grabs. did you know that the number of artisans we are able to support and provide employment for continues to grow tremendously because of your orders? thank you for {shopping with purpose}.
am totally in love with these adorable headbands on etsy by BLOOM. i got two uses out of mine before it vanished in my house. i’m pretty sure a little person is hiding it from me. hoping it turns up soon or else i’ll be ordering a replacement! super comfy.

i can tell that my heart has been heavy and burdened lately because i have been inspired to create. the things i see in the walls of that hospital are difficult to process. somehow, i still believe it is my calling, but this season is tough. i pray for a renewed heart and the ability to continue serving.

and finally, today, i’m reflecting on thanksgiving and seeking God in the moment. “it is surprising how easy it is to hear music in the waves, and songs in the wild, whisperings of the winds; to see God everywhere, in the stones, in the rocks, in the rippling brooks, and hear him everywhere in the lowering of cattle, in the rolling of thunders , and in the fury of tempests.” (spurgeon)
